Loved MercyMe
Wow! MercyMe was smokin! The energy, the connection, the testimony, the music! It was everything to be dreamed of. We drove 1½ hours to venue. It was 10:26 when we stepped out the doors. I loved the length of the show but a 6 pm start instead of 7 would have been great. Micah Tyler was awsome, with powerful music and atmosphere. Sorry to say , but Taya was a drag on the evening. I didn't feel her new songs clicked at all. It was an extremely boring 45 minutes. I would love to see MercyMe and Micah Tyler again! Our tickets were a Christmas gift. Next time they're near, I hope to be there! We are MM's biggest fans, almost since their start. Keep up the great work!
Disappointed
We planned on attending a concert performed by MercyMe. The first two hours of our time was spent listening to two other groups - the first was great - the second was not; I do not enjoy screeching disguised as singing. And we were subjected to fundraising for a charity; I felt like I'd been sucked into a timeshare sale presentation. MercyMe did not perform until after the intermission. Their performance was phenomenal - they are an amazing group. The show was too long with all the added acts, etc. If I'd known everything that was to occur beforehand, I probably would not have purchased tickets.
A W E S O M E !
Just an incredible show! Mercy Me is awesome live. Light show, sound, and musicianship were top notch. Started on time, both opening acts were great. Mercy Me members are seasoned professionals and it shows. They do not spare expense with the show, every tour they do a totally different light show and stage setup, and set list. Whoever their lighting director is, does an incredible job designing and executing a flawless show. Always cutting edge lights, done tastefully without going over the top. The vocals and playing just blew me away. Sound system was clear and well mixed without sounding weak or clipping. All around fantastic experience.
